Anna Purpera is a trained ProSocial facilitator and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a background in human services, organizational behavior management, and community engagement. She works as the Engagement Catalyst for the nonprofit think tank ProSocial World, where she provides support to groups and members to develop prosocial processes. Her other roles include Clinical Director for an in-home therapy agency for children with autism and adjunct professor at Daemen University's Department of Behavioral Sciences. She has past experience consulting with renewable energy developers and nonprofit organizations to develop community outreach strategies. Anna sits on the Board of Directors of two nonprofits, United Solar Energy Supporters, which uses community engagement strategies to support the transition to renewable energy, and Birds on the Niagara, which organizes educational events focused on local ecosystems and migratory birds in the Niagara region of the U.S. and Canada. She also facilitates meetings for bioregional groups within the Great Lakes basin as part of the Design School for Regenerating the Earth. Anna actively volunteers her time engaging in community education around watershed restoration and stewarding a network of community gardens in her home region of Western New York.
